HOURS OF OPENING

Please do not telephone outside these hours unless your call is medically urgent.

EXTENDED HOURS

There are appointments available at both surgeries between 7.30 - 8.00am Monday to Friday and at the Kos Clinic between 6.30 - 7.00pm on Monday evening. This access is aimed primarily at those who cannot attend during normal surgery hours. We must emphasise that these are for pre-booked appointments only and not for people to walk in and expect to be seen.

During the extended hours there will be no telephone access to the practice and you will not be able to pick up prescriptions or letters etc. Secondary care services have not increased their hours of access so will not be available during our extended opening times.

Local Care Direct will continue to provide our out-of-hours service from 6.30pm to 8.00am and at weekends.

Out of Hours

If you need medical advice outside surgery hours, please ring 01422 205154 and your call will be diverted to the out of hours provider. The Primary Care Trust is responsible for this service.

Please do not use the service for routine matters - the emergency doctor will not know your history and will only be able to deal with the immediate problem.

Please note all calls to NHS Direct and Local Care Direct are recorded.
